Canary Wharf is evolving once again, but this time with a difference.
Completion of the totemic One Canada Square in 1991 ushered in a new era for the area; a further 14 commercial buildings followed during the 1990s and early 2000s to complete its transformation into the modern business district it is today.
Despite the presence of retail and public spaces, however, the area’s identity has always been distinctly commercial. But this might be about to change.
