Resolving On-site Disputes Efficiently

High-Level Summary

Challenge:

During a pre-closeout dispute regarding installation of air duct pumps, the engineer-on-record was concerned about the pump exhaust’s proximity to the sprinkler heads. To close out the concern, the project team had to prove that there was sufficient space between the pump exhaust and the sprinkler heads in each of the apartments.

Solution:

The project team used Disperse’s date and progress information to pinpoint pre-closure photographs of this condition at each apartment type. The 360 photographs were used as evidence to prove to the engineer-on-record that there was indeed sufficient space between the pump exhaust and the sprinkler heads. The team resolved the dispute without incurring any rework or schedule delays.
