As the Owner’s Rep, you are tasked with representing the owner’s best interests and recommending the best alternative path forward. However, it can be challenging to ensure that all stakeholders keep you abreast of all RFIs and design changes, which can limit your overall effectiveness on a project.
On top of implementing file sharing best practices, this owner’s rep uses Disperse to identify when they may not have the correct drawings. Non-conformance spotlights identify when an installation does not match the most recent drawings. A series of non-conforming spotlights for the same trade in the same spacial area suggest either a systemic issue, outdated drawings, or both.

Upon further examination, we learned that there was a change in scope that had not been properly communicated to us.
